Wandering into the Hills mall to get haircuts for my five girls, I stumbled upon the last day of the 10th Sarawak Bonsai Competition! I only had my handphone in my pocket so the images don’t begin to do justice to the subjects. But here they are:

Heheh, oh yes. Duty before pleasure. It was the last day of holiday before school started, so haircuts could not wait.
Every tree seems to have their own story. Looking at these photos makes me excited & wanting to grow my own, & I really like the slanting style. How is it going for u sir?
My own are still in early development. I have them in large pots to increase thickness of the base and the primary branches. After a few more cycles of growing out and cutting back, I may be able to start working on styling some of the trees. I’ve benefited a lot from following the International Bonsai Club’s forum.
